Trend Alert: Turbans

Im loving this hot new trend, we've seen the likes Solange, June Ambrose and Chrisette Michelle rocking turbans. Its funny how something that's been donned by African women for generations has suddenly become a hit in Europe and America and now just because they're popular overseas, I dont see a problem with rocking a turban. Either way i love it cheers to African Swag!

Wasted Days

My Life is NOT a rollercoaster...

I wish it was...I  miss the excitement and anticipation of not knowing what sort of adventure each day is going to bring.

These days, I can easily premeditate what each day is going to be like and a piece of my soul dies with every 'wasted' day.

Problem is I dont know what it is I need to do to snap out of it, actually I dont know what I want to do with my life anymore and that is the scariest thing for me. I used to think I had it all figured out. I was young and naive, then you grow up and the reality of life sets in, Im finding it harder and harder to keep my dreams alive, Im starting to forget...






Wedges and Flatforms

I am obsessed with wedges and these wedges I saw on Pretty Haute 's blog just fuelled my craving for a blue pair of wedge boots I saw at Zoom...dreaming.

I finally found a sort of replica of the blue suede boots I want (see below) I found these on Tee Tee's blog:

A lot of people including my boyfriend and some of my friends don't like wedges and I don't think they'll be to chuffed when the flatform trend hits our shores. They're sorta like platform/wedges but well uhm flatter.

I still have my verdict out on these, not too sure what to make of them yet.
